The problem is rarely
where it first appears.
The practiceI trace consequential product questions across people, interfaces, operations, and evidence—then turn the whole picture into direction teams can act on.
Selected cases where research had to clarify the problem before it could shape the product.
Public-safe reconstructions preserve the research logic while changing names, details, values, and visual language.
When success could not prove itself.
A deep investigation into why successful outcomes remained difficult to see, measure, and act on.
Designing customer research at scale.
Interconnected activities captured measurement priorities, adoption barriers, AI readiness, capability use, and the organizational conditions behind each signal.
“I need help with a leave question.”
I can help clarify that. Before we continue…
Designing the handoff between AI and people.
The work defined the operating conditions required for a voice assistant to resolve real needs, including escalation, accountability, and human handoff.
Context matters as much as the problem.
Problems live inside relationships between what people need, what a product allows, what operations can sustain, and what an organization can recognize as value. That is a field I research.
Evidence systems
How research becomes comparable, traceable, reusable, and useful after the original readout.
Participatory research · Executive workshops · Research enablementProduct direction & value
How products earn adoption, demonstrate value, and become easier to defend, prioritize, or expand.
Product direction · Measurement · Adoption · Customer strategyPeople, interfaces, operations, evidence, and organizational value become legible together.
Work & access
How devices, time, place, privacy, managers, and interruptions shape what a product can ask of people.
Deskless work · Manager experience · Connected workAI & human systems
Where automation should act, where people need authority, and what trust requires across the handoff.
AI assistants · Voice · Agentic workflows · GovernanceInformation & service architecture
How language, taxonomy, knowledge, content, and fulfillment shape the path through a complex service.
Information architecture · Taxonomy · Knowledge · OnboardingFrame. Connect. Activate.
Three moves help complex research stay centered on a decision rather than becoming a catalogue of findings.
Find the decision.
Separate the visible request from the uncertainty that is actually preventing movement.
Build the whole picture.
Connect customer behavior, product constraints, operational reality, and business context.
Change the work.
Shape the evidence into priorities, requirements, and artifacts that make the next choice easier.
From objects, to interfaces, to organizations.
My path through industrial design, interaction design, design strategy, and research shaped a practice that moves easily between details and systems.
